| Description: | This is a presentation transcript for Structures and Materials : Section 8 : statically indeterminate structures. It introduces statically indeterminate structures, and two methods used to solve these problems are presented. Previous exercises in the module have involved statically determinate structures, i.e. there have been enough equations of equilibrium available to solve for the unknowns. This open educational resource was released through the Higher Education Academy Engineering Subject Centre Open Engineering Resources Pilot project. The project was funded by HEFCE and the JISC/HE Academy UKOER programme. |
